Children and Youth Ministries partnered together for a special holiday offering project to provide essential toiletry items for the homeless which will be delivered on Christmas Day by a group from Granite Springs. Beginning in October and continuing through mid-December, children and youth donated basic toiletry items, and the weekly offering in Children and Youth Ministries went to purchase additional toiletry items. The children and youth donated over $200 in two months! We have put together 100 toiletry gift bags for the homeless. Each bag will contain a bar of soap, a washcloth, a small hand sanitizer, a chapstick, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a small pack of tissues, and a candy cane. The toiletry bags were assembled by Club 45 (our youth group for 4th and 5th graders) as a service project. Click here to see pictures of the items being assembled by Club 45.
Thank you to the children, youth, and families for helping out those in need this holiday season!
