Children’s Ministry

What is Children’s Ministry at Granite Springs Church like?

Children’s Ministry at Granite Springs Church is about fun, safety, and nurturing grace in children so that they grow to be full-fledged followers of Jesus Christ.

So often in the church, our children learn to answer the question, “What must I do?”  At Granite Springs, first and foremost, we want to help our kids answer the question, “Who is God?”  We believe that knowing God is the key to a life of grace and a life lived well.

Granite Springs Children’s Ministries adhere to the Granite Springs Child Safety Policy.

Nursery (Volunteer Schedule)

Drop off your child before the service starts.  Our attendants are trained to care for and interact with your children.  Enjoy worship!

What age kids does the nursery serve? Children are welcome in the nursery up until their third birthday.

How do you keep track of my child? When you drop off your child, you will be asked to fill out his/her information on a sticker.  The sticker goes on your child’s back.  You keep a portion of the sticker and present it for pick up after the service.  No child is released unless the portion of the sticker is presented.  Children are released to parents or guardians only.

What if my child is not happy? Your registration sticker has a number on it.  If we need you during the service, we will flash your number on the number display board in the front right corner of the auditorium.

Do you change diapers in the nursery? For your convenience, we change diapers under the supervision of a second attendant.  If you prefer to do it yourself, let us know, and we will page you.

What if my child has to use the bathroom during church? We ask that you please take your child to the bathroom before dropping him/her off at Busy Builders.  If your child needs to use the bathroom during the service, we will display your number on the number display board in the auditorium so that you may come and assist your child.  If the situation looks urgent, we will send our helper with your child to the bathroom.  The helper will stand in the door to make sure that the bathroom is clear.
