Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom – all who share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!  MOPS recognizes that the years from from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

MOPS began with only 8 mothers in 1973.  It was in this humble beginning that the seeds of the MOPS concept and format were planted.  Through friendship, creative outlets, and instruction, the women began to understand that “mothering matters.”   Today, the same needs for significance are met un much the same way in MOPS groups across the US and around the world – including Granite Springs Church.

Granite Springs MOPS meetings are held monthly from September to May every second and fourth Thursday morning of the month.

What is MOPPETS?

MOPPETS is a wonderful children’s program for babies through kindergarten.  They are cared for in a loving atmosphere by Granite Springs Church volunteers.  This is a time for them  to explore, play, laugh, learn, and meet new friends,  It is a safe, fun environment for your children while you enjoy some time with your fellow MOPS moms.
