| What is MOPS? | ||
|
MOPS stands for Mothers of
Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom–
all who share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS
recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are
foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique
needs.
MOPS began with only eight mothers in 1973. It was in this humble beginning that the seeds of the MOPS concept and format were planted. Through friendship, creative outlets, and instruction, the women began to understand that ―mothering matters.‖ Today, the same needs for significance are met in much the same way in MOPS groups across the U.S. and around the world—including Granite Springs Church.

Thursday morning of the month with monthly playdates/field trips scheduled
for the 4th Thursday morning of the month
