A group from Granite Springs attended the annual WJU Friends & Neighbors Spring Conference. The talented University choir began the event with some wonderful music. The main program was three speakers talking about “Faith and Science: Partners or Opponents in Understanding Our World?” They had great information to share, and everyone learned a lot. The program was followed by a plentiful lunch. It was a fun and interesting morning; new friends were made while having a great time! In fact, it was such a nice time that a small group headed back this past week to hear a lecture from an Israeli archaeologist titled “In Search of Goliath.” Among other information, he presented fascinating biblical era finds that paint a vivid picture of the land of the Bible from a long ago era.
